Thuja occidentalis 'Smaragd' (also known as Emerald Green Arborvitae) is a fast-growing, upright conifer prized for its slender, pyramidal shape and vivid emerald green foliage that holds its color well through winter.

Typically reaching 3–4 meters tall and about 1–1.5 meters wide, ‘Smaragd’ maintains a tight, neat growth habit that requires minimal pruning. Its soft, scale-like leaves form dense sprays that create a lush, textured screen or accent.

This cultivar is widely used for:
